Wigan man admits to making knife threats

A man has admitted threatening residents with a knife.

Andrew Farrimond, 33, of Glenside, Appley Bridge, appeared before Wigan magistrates to face charges of menacing people on Langfield, Lowton, on June 26 while armed with a blade. He was released on unconditional bail while reports are prepared before his sentence on December 3.
