Wigan Athletic picked up an unlikely three points against play-off chasing Sunderland on Saturday afternoon – and supporters have been quick to react to the result on social media.

The Black Cats went into the game with new boss Lee Johnson at the helm, but it was the Latics who came away with the result thanks to a first half strike from teenage striker Kyle Joseph.

The strike was the Scot’s first for the senior side, and secured a first league win for his team since the beginning of October.
