New Wigan Grand Arcade hair salon promises ‘affordable services’

Head Turners, which opened on June 13, is promising "affordable services."

The salon is offering” high quality hairdressing and barbering services to ladies, gents, and children.”

Ladies’ services include haircutting, shampoo and blow-dry, hair colouring, highlights, balayage, hair ups/hairstyling and perms.

Gents barbering services will be carried out by a genuine Turkish Barber and includes scissor cut, clipper cut, skin fades, cut throat shaving with hot towels and beard styling.

Until the end of June, they will be offering 20 per cent discount on all services to everyone.

Salon owner Jackie Wood said: "We have a fabulous highly experienced team at the salon and we are excited to get started.

"We want to offer affordable services. Our haircuts start at £16 for ladies and £14 for gents. We believe it’s important to take time out to have some ‘you’ time and look and feel your very best."

Mike Matthews, Grand Arcade centre manager said: "We are delighted to welcome Kevin, Jackie and their team to the centre. Head Turners are the latest new tenant to the centre and the first time we’ve ever had a hairdressing salon as a tenant. We wish them every success for the future."

Salon owner Kevin Wood added: "We are looking forward to bringing our excellent services to Wigan, as well as hairdressing, we are hoping to soon include a footologist and aesthetic treatments including Botox. We are delighted to be working inside the Grand Arcade which has a great mixture of stores, and lots of exciting things to come."
