Long ban for drink-driver three times over the limit

Sean Morris, of Wigan Road, Leigh, stood before Wigan and Leigh magistrates to admit to drink-driving.
The hearing was told police stopped a Vauxhall Corsa on Atherleigh Way, Leigh, two days before Christmas last year and breath tested 37-year-old Morris.

Hide AdThe breath test found he had 105 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
The bench imposed a 44-month ban from the road and ordered Morris to pay £180 in court costs and a victim services surcharge.
