A perverted 37-year-old Leigh man who admitted to producing hundreds of indecent pictures of children has been spared an immediate jail term.

David Fiske had already appeared before Wigan and Leigh magistrates to plead guilty to three charges of making 130 “child porn” pictures falling into the gravest legal category (A), with a further 123 judged to be of category B seriousness and another 302 category C.

Fiske, of Warrington Road, was sent to Bolton Crown Court to be sentenced by a judge where he received an eight-month custodial sentence but it was suspended for 18 months.
