A teenager has had four weeks added to his jail sentence for attacking a prison officer.

Daniel Wylie, 19, currently an inmate of the HM Young Offenders Institution in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, appeared before Wigan justices to admit to assaulting emergency worker Andrew Shone on July 28 last year at Hindley Prison.

He was also ordered to pay his victim £134 in compensation.
