Wigan man charged after reports of homeless man being abused
Cieran Harrison, of Logwood Place, Wigan, has been charged with a grievous bodily harm and actual bodily harm against Jamshid Mohammadi on February 11.
He has also been charged with an attempted robbery the previous day and possession of a offensive weapon on King Street in Wigan town centre.

Hide AdThe 32-year-old appeared before Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday) and has been remanded in custody until he faces a judge at Bolton Crown Court.This is in relation to a report made to police that a homeless man had his benefits stolen and was assaulted with a golf club, causing serious injury.
Harrison also has a co-accused, Cameron Foley of Ince Green Lane, who has been charged with robbery and appeared before Wigan magistrates on February 20.
The two will now appear in the dock together at Bolton Crown Court on March 20.
