A man who has admitted walking the streets with a pocket knife will face a crown court judge for sentencing.

Dean Clementson, from Tyldesley, pleaded guilty at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court to having the folded knife with a blade longer than three inches on Hurst Street in Leigh on October 6.

He will now be sentenced at Bolton Crown Court on November 9. The 28-year-old, of Samuel Street, was remanded in custody until then.
