Make a last dash to join Race For Life
There are already 400 women taking part in Wednesday’s fund-raiser at Haigh Woodland Park.
And organisers are encouraging more people to sign up before registration closes on Monday.

Hide AdPolly O’Gorman, event manager for Race For Life in the North West, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that so many women have entered Race For Life events in Wigan.
“But we still have places left so we are urging women to sign up right now and show their support.”
The event is not competitive and people can run or walk the 5km course at the Wigan beauty spot.
It has been held on Sundays in previous years, but has been moved to 7.30pm on Wednesday in a bid to tackle traffic problems.

Hide AdMoney raised will help Cancer Research UK scientists find new ways to treat cancer and save more lives.
The Race For Life is a series of women-only 5k, 10k, Pretty Muddy, marathon and hiking events which raise millions of pounds every year to fund research.
Polly said: “Taking part in Race For Life is a hugely moving experience thanks to our brave army of inspirational participants. Many will be remembering loved ones lost to cancer or celebrating the lives of people dear to them who have survived.
“We’re calling on ladies in Wigan of all ages, shapes and sizes to sign up right now and be part of a collective force of women who are united in their aim to beat cancer.”
