Wigan tyre company extends its sponsorship of young players at local RL club

Since the 2018/19 season, Davanti Tyres has sponsored six youth teams at Hindley ARLFC. The partnership helps support the rugby teams, totaling over 200 children between the ages of six and 12 years, and has been extended for a further two years.

The sponsorship is important to Davanti, bosses say, which has shown its keen support for local grassroot clubs in the past, a cause close to the company. As a brand that prides itself on Leading the Way, its partnerships are much more than simply branding, as the relationship with Hindley ARLFC demonstrates.

Davanti finance director Andrew Burgess, said: “This community partnership is a long-term relationship with Hindley. We are keen to support local, grassroots sports clubs whenever possible to enable local children to enjoy sports and keep healthy.

"Over the past four years we’ve seen great growth in the number of children participating in the sport at the club with a number of age groups now running two teams as well as a thriving Girls section with over 100 girls now playing the sport.”
