Streets shut in Wigan after 'major structural problems' found with town centre building
Streets are shut and a major operation is under way in Wigan town centre after structural problems were detected in a building.
Emergency crews raced to the former bank which is now a coffee shop at the corner of Wallgate and Library Street shortly after 6pm on Wednesday.
Fire crews have been using a large crane to assess the building.
Police have closed Wallgate and Library Street to traffic.
