Teenage motorbike rider dies after hitting lamppost
Cameron Chadwick was killed after the bike he was riding crashed at 3.35pm on Tuesday on Helvellyn Road, Norley Hall.
He suffered serious injuries and was taken to Wigan Infirmary by ambulance for treatment.

Hide AdMedics battled to save the Abraham Guest High pupil’s life but he died at hospital.
The police and ambulance service were not able to confirm his age but Wigan Today understands Cameron was 15.
It is understood that no other vehicles were involved in the collision.
Paul Bousfield, principal at Abraham Guest Academy, said: “Cameron Chadwick was a very lovely, lively and popular young boy who had a very bright future ahead of him. “Unfortunately a terrible accident has stolen him of that future and a family of their son.
