Police launch investigation into crash after wrecked car found abandoned on Wigan street
Traffic police have launched an investigation into a collision after a car ploughed into a lamppost and was left abandoned on a Wigan street
Officers took to Twitter to share a picture of the damaged vehicle which was on Platt Lane in Whelley yesterday.
An investigation has been launched.
GMP Traffic tweeted: "Reports from residents of Platt Lane Whelley regarding abandoned vehicle after RTC. Vehicle recovered. Inquiries ongoing."
