Pupils in year 11 at St John Fisher Catholic High School are being asked to stay at home today (September 15). It comes after a pupil in that year group tested positive for the virus. In a Facebook post last night (September 14), the school said: "We have just been informed about ONE positive test result for COVID19 in our Year 11. We are asking that ALL Year 11 pupils stay at home tomorrow (Tuesday 15 September 2020). "Work will be available on the Pupil Dashboard and/or through Teacher/Pupil email – check your inbox." The school hopes to get the majority of year 11 pupils back into school this week. It added: "Once we have contacted Public Health England and determined who has been in close contact, we will contact parents personally and expect the majority of Year 11 back into school this week. Apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause."
