And Dunkley says Latics must pick up where they left off – or risk being stung by the Bees.

Hide Ad“It’s been a good opportunity for us to have a bit of a break after a hectic month,” he told the Wigan Post.
“But we also understand the importance of being ready to go at the weekend, and not showing any signs of lethargy.
“We’ve been hammering that message all week and hopefully it’s a trap we won’t fall into.
“It’s not easy to stop and go again, and stop and go again.
“But that’s how it is around the international breaks and we just have to deal with it.”

Hide AdDunkley has been a key figure in the opening few weeks of the season, being the only man standing from last term’s record-breaking defence.
“It’s been a different role, but it’s not just about me,” he added.
“There’s also (Sam) Morsy and (Lee) Evans in front who are doing their bit.
“To be fair, I haven’t really done anything different in terms of responsibility.

“There probably has been an added responsibility with the three new lads coming in.
“But it’s not like it’s stressed me out at all, and the way they’ve fitted in has made all of our jobs easy.”
