Wigan Athletic working on 'week by week' basis
With the EFL campaign suspended until at least April 30, the Latics players have spent the last week at home working to personalised fitness programmes.
But with the country moving closer to total lockdown, Cook and his squad are waiting to hear what the latest advice is.

Hide Ad“Obviously the guidelines from the government are very, very important for us all,” the Latics boss said.
“And we’re doing as much as we can to adhere to them.
“We’re taking it literally week by week at the minute.
“The players were off for the whole of last week, and we’re going to review that as we go along.”
Cook also feels the country has only had a taster of what might be around the corner as the pandemic shows no sign of abating.
“I think we’ve been at the tip of the iceberg so far, haven’t we?” he added on Sky Sports News. “And it’s all starting to really kick in now.
